The Guava Express® Assays evaluate the binding activity of primary antibody reagents as direct labeled conjugates, or as indirect conjugates when used with Guava Express® Secondary Reagents.

The Guava Express Assay delivers excellent capabilities for studying membrane and intracellular proteins as well as quantifying cell surface markers. It is ideal for titering purified monoclonal antibody preparations, assessing target activity of antibody clones, or identifying cell populations that express a specific protein marker.

The assay provides superior sensitivity for protein expression analysis in whole cells. Even low levels of the protein/antigen of interest can be detected, providing excellent discrimination between cells expressing low and high levels of protein.

The extreme sensitivity of the Guava Express Assay is due to precise reagent labeling coupled with the unique illumination used within Guava Systems. The assay uses proprietary Guava Express Software, a Guava System, and optimized Guava Express Primary or Secondary Reagents. The assay combines sensitivity with easy data analysis to provide rapid, reliable, and objective protein expression results.

Guava Express Primary Reagents

Guava Express® Primary Antibody Reagents are directly conjugated for easy staining of cells with a minimal number of steps. With a growing selection of primary antibodies, Guava Express Reagents provide appropriate combinations for multiple-staining experiments. Most Primary Antibody Reagents are available in three dye conjugations, so you can mix and match as needed.

Guava Express Secondary Reagents

Guava Express® Secondary Reagents are optimized for cell-based screening of hybridoma supernatants for specific monoclonal antibodies or for assessing antibody expression by B cells.
Secondary Reagents are also available for use with unlabeled primary antibodies for two step detection to identify cell populations with particular markers.

Additonal Guava Express Reagents

With the Guava Express® 7-AAD Reagent you can identify dead cells to eliminate them from the analysis. Doing so will deliver a more accurate fluorescence intensity for the population of live cells in which you are interested.
